A proper kimjang day — make fresh kimchi from scratch, then share bossam and makgeolli together, the traditional way.

 

Join us for a proper kimjang day — the Korean tradition of making kimchi together with friends and family.

In this hands-on class, you'll make fresh kimchi from scratch, starting with the rice porridge paste and working through every step of the process. Take home a full batch of kimchi you made yourself.

Halfway through, take a break and share bossam (boiled pork wraps) and makgeolli (Korean rice wine) with the group — the traditional way to enjoy a kimjang day.

This class is a lovely way to spend a few hours with friends, partners, or family, learning a skill that's been passed down for generations.

Lunch and rice wine included.
